Subject: bad scan has improved
Subject: bad scan has improved
Some of the problems with the scan previously reported to Google appear to have been fixed. The garbled text and blank white pages have been fixed. So we know that Google does listen to and rectify mistakes. Good for them.
However there are still problems previously reported that have not been altered:
faint pages (pdf page #156,304) and still some
problems with ugly finger images scanned onto
the pages (pdf pages # 152,422,424,544,556). Ugh. However at least now it is readable.
Does previous commentator really imagine
that updating to newer software will
take off thumbprints from a page or put in
missing pages? Think before you write.
